New Year, New You?? #mamavation monday

>
Sometimes it seems like it was just yesterday that I was so much more healthier and fit, and at other times reality steps in....it was years ago!  EEEk, how did I get so off track.  Oh that is right, I added another child and a job to the factors which equal more stress and less time.

I remember a few years back I was about to turn 35 and said I wanted to be my healthiest by the time I turned 40.  I made a new years resolution that year to get off my butt and lose some weight.  I actually did it too.  I do remember it being hard at times, but I just cant seem to figure out how to fit it all in like I did then.

My resolution this year is to get healthy.  While my focus is on losing weight, it is also on just managing my stress levels.  So while I want to add more activity....I also want to take the time for myself to relax too.

I have been trying over the past couple years but just can't seem to stick with anything...so I will really need some support this time around.  I still have my 40 year goal....with only about a year to get there.  No pressure huh?!!    No more time for all the excuses I have given myself.  I know how to do it, now I just gotta do it!

One thing I know that has helped in the past is setting goals...long term and short term.

I already stated my long term, so here's the short term goals:  This weeks goals are to exercise 4 days and no soda.  Today's goal is to check out my schedule and think about my dinner menus, and work on fitting in my weekly exercise goal.

Today I am going to go dust off my Wii and do some Gold's Gym, and some hula hooping....these were a couple of my favorites that really got me losing the last time around.
