A few years back I had lost a bunch of weight by using my Wii and Wii fit. I really enjoy these exergames and have a bunch of them. This week I used it and did the Wii fit hula hoop 4 days. The first day I did just the 6 minute and was ok. The rest of them I did the 10 minutes and boy did I feel it. You could really tell I hadnt done much lately. One of the days I did the Gold Gym Cardio Workout...which I pretty much always get a great score and love when they tell me my age is 23 or so! Yeah I wish....lol. By the end of the day after I could really feel it in the back of my arms and shoulders (its a boxing game). The third day my Wii was acting up and the only thing I could get to work was my sons Just Dance Kids game....so we did some dancing and boy did I get a good workout especially to "Shake the Silly's out". Phew!
This wasnt the first time my Wii has acted up on me (which I cant complain too much I believe it is 5 years old), so my husband told me instead of getting a new Wii to buy the Kinect for his Xbox. So I jumped on that and bought that. He is out right now picking his Xbox up, that he had loaned to his daughter. So hopefully we can hook it up and I can check out my new games this week. I picked up Zumba, UFC Personal Trainer and for fun Wipeout.
This week I am going to up my goal to working out 5 days this week. Another goal I am going to add is cutting down my portion sizes. I did pretty good this week not eating junk food, but think I still need to work on cutting my portions down some.
