My son loved his message from Santa thanks to Portable North Pole

>

My son absolutely loved his video message from Santa.  I had gone through the process earlier that day personalizing the Portable North Pole's Downloadable Santa's Premium Video.  It was pretty easy to use, and to watch.  I loved my son's reaction.  He was pretty funny answering Santa and listening to his advice on being good.  Although the message was directed to my son, it was nice that I could add pictures of his sisters and his dog.  He liked these personal touches.

I liked that we were able to view the video at home on our computer and was able to share it with our friends and family right on facebook.  I can replay it also so Zach can keep watching it.  I think it is a great way to get the excitement of Christmas started.  I especially loved that you could personalize the message for a nice, naughty and nice, or a naughty child.

Mamavation Monday....Well a teeny tiny bit better this week

>
The past couple weeks I have started Occupational Therapy for tennis elbow/radial tunnel.  It has really made me see how out of shape I have gotten.  So I finally got off my butt and did some exercise.

It hasnt been great...and I still need so much motivation for eating better.  I just dont get how a few years ago I was soooo good about my nutrition and exercise, and how I have gotten so far off track.  It is so hard to get back there again.

I have a goal for myself to get back to where I was three years ago by my 40th birthday.....which is just over a year from now.  It is so much harder for me to stay connected to mamavation too since I started working outside the home and having a toddler at home.  I just dont seem to have the free time like I did back then.

I did feel better exercising those days this past week so it is time to really get with it.  I keep saying I just gotta get through the holidays....but then there is always something else that I just have to get past so I suppose I should stop making excuses.

Loving The Chica Show

>
Did your kids watch the premier of The Chica Show last week?  We had to hurry back and see it....and my son likes to catch it whenever he can.  He knows all the characters.  Not sure if he knows who is behind the voice of Stiches....Mario Lopez.

The next episode, airing on Sprout on Saturday, December 8th at 11:30 am, encourages healthy eating and follows Chica on her adventure to the farm, where she learns how nutritious meals provide energy for life’s daily activities.
