Fashion to Figure

>

I started a new job this summer, and have been wearing scrubs most of the time.  I however have been lucky to have gotten a cool shirt from Fashion To Figure to wear on these hot days that I have been out.

I know for me it is kind of hard finding fashionable clothing in plus sizes.  It seems unless you live in a more populated area than the selections are limited.  Most plus size clothing I find tends to be more "mom" or even "grandma" styles.  By checking out Fashion To Figure, you can find those stylish clothes, right from home.

There were many things I liked about the Fashion to Figure website.  The first is that it is easy to navigate through.  You can look through the different categories, like clothing, accessaries, sale, trends and many more.

Finding this shirt that I like I went to the Trends category, then clicked on animal prints.  The clothing you see on real models, in high resolution photos. (The picture above is just a small version of what you really see....you must check it out to get the full effect.) Many of the items have at least a couple different views of the item, as well as being able to put your mouse over the item and zoom in to get a better look at the item.  This I think is a big plus when shopping online.

Another thing I liked is that in the sizing information they give you the size of the model in the picture and will also give you a meaurement for one size.  This was really helpful in finding items that I thought would fit well or not fit.  I do wish they would list the measurements for all the sizes, but at least having one is more helpful than just listing the sizes available.

I liked the site, and thought the prices were pretty good too.  I got to try out a summery shirt.  I think some styles are limited in quantities, as I no longer see the shirt I got from them.  When it arrived it lived up to its picture.  It fit well, and washed well.  I have not had any issues with it fading, or shrinking(although it was not cotton, so I didn't expect it to shrink really).  I was concerned that it was very light that normal washing might wear it out, but it has held up great.  I would definitely check them out to purchase more items.  So when looking for plus size fashions, check out Fashion to Figure!

Disclosure:  I received a free item in my choice of size for review.  These are my personal opinions.

New Pomegranate Carmex is a great flavor (#giveaway)

>
It has been a pretty busy, sunny hot summer!  Many remember the sunblock, but we have to remember to pretect our lips too.  One way we protect ours is by using Carmex.  Carmex sticks are made with an ultra-moisturizing formula and SPF 15 Water Resistant Sunscreen.

With the introduction of Carmex's newest flavor, Pomegranate, they now have a great selection to choose from.  I got to try out all 6 flavors, including the new Pomegranate flavor.  The Pomegranate was a great flavor.  While one thing you can tell with Carmex is that they are Carmex.  All the flavors have that "Carmex" flavor/scent which to me is fine, but is warm and smells a little medicated.  I thought that the medicated scent is not as strong with the flavored Carmex.  The Pomegranate is a light sweet flavor.  Personally I think it could be a little stronger, but it is still good.

Keep your lips soft and protected this summer by trying one or all of the six Carmex flavors.  You can try out the new Pomegranate, the original or Cherry, Strawberry, Vanilla, or my favorite Lime Twist.

One lucky reader can win a Summer Carmex prize pack consisting of all six flavors of Carmex, and an awesome beach bag!
