Fiber One Nutty Clusters & Almonds (giveaway)

>
You’re just a click away from starting your day off the right way with a bowl of Fiber One Nutty Clusters & Almonds!  Visit http://bit.ly/Fiber1NCAcoupon to download a printable coupon for $1.25 off one box of Fiber One Nutty Clusters & Almonds cereal today!

"In a nutshell, Fiber One Nutty Clusters & Almonds is a great-tasting and wholesome breakfast cereal that you can feel good about."  That is how I feel.  I was asked to try out the new Fiber One Nutty clusters & Almonds cereal and love it.  The full of fiber flakes are light and sweet and you really do taste the almonds.  I think they could use a bit more nutty clusters and almonds, but at the same time feel they are a good compliment to having a breakfast full of fiber.

9 out of 10 Americans don’t get enough fiber in their diet.*  Do you have trouble meeting the Recommended Daily Value of 25 grams per day of fiber?  Having Fiver One Nutty Clusters & Almonds for breakfast gets you on a great start to meeting those recommendations.
Containing 11 grams of fiber (43% of the Daily Value), 23 grams of whole grain (at least 48 recommended daily), and 180 calories per serving I think is a great way to start your day.  I have been enjoying this all week long and haven't gotten sick of it yet.

Im a blogging slacker

>
I can not believe how fast the last few months have gone by.  I just had my 90 day review at my new job even though it seems like I just started there.  I am working part time, but pretty much working 6 days a week most weeks.  I just dont seem to find the energy or free hands to get on the computer that much especially having a toddler grabbing everything.

So I am trying to catch up here.  I have some reviews and giveaways to get posting.  I also have pictures of the kids to share.  It is just going to take me longer now to do things.

My First Crayola helps my little one build motor skills and have a lot of fun

>
I have always loved all the different products Crayola comes out with.  Having children that have developmental delays checking out the various Crayola items has helped them be able to work on these motor skills and be creative.  I recently tried out some of Crayola's newest line, My First Crayola, with my youngest.  She has some significant motor delays, and this was her very first time trying out these types of items.

Mess-Free Activities
Toddlers can have clean, colorful and creative fun with My First Crayola Mess-Free Marker & Paper and My First Crayola™ Mess-Free Fingerpaint and Paper. When used on magic mess-free paper, special markers and fingerpaints instantly reveal colorful patterns with no mess on skin, walls or fabric. Mess-Free Marker & Paper is recommended for children age 12 mos. + and Mess-Free Finger Paint for children 24 mos. +.

Art ToolsMy First Crayola™ Washable Crayons, Markers and Stampers are designed to fit neatly in a toddler’s palm, and are just the right size and shape for a child to create their first artistic expression. For children age 12 mos +.

While my daughter is 18 months we tried out all of these.  The finger painting was pretty fun.  I personally wasn't crazy about the paper being just rainbows.  I have not really checked out other options for these, and wonder if they come in other designs.  I think it would be fun to see more designs pop out when the little ones smear the finger paints around on the paper.  It was a good one though to let her just wiggle her fingers around and make her mark.

Using the same paper she also tried out the My Frist Crayola Mess-Free Marker.  This marker has the same great design as the My First Crayola Washable Markers, but only marks on the Mess Free Paper.  At this time my daughter was not really sure how to use any of these items.  She however loves playing with the little characters, banging them around and chewing on them.  They are a good size for doodling though and are easy to hold, which is a plus when having a child with motor problems.

Creative Activities
My First Crayola Washable Dry-Erase Activity Mat is perfect for colorful on-the-go creativity. It features 12 activities that slide into place on the mat so little ones can draw, erase and draw again using washable My First Crayola Washable Triangular Dry-Erase Crayons. The crayons’ triangular shape guides little fingers into a writing grip, so toddlers can more easily trace and create broad sweeps of color. The mat folds up easily and features convenient carrying handles and built-in storage. For children age 24 mos +.

Your child will be captivated with surprising sounds while creating adorable farm-themed artwork with the My First Crayola Washable Musical Rub-Art Station! Select one of the dual-sided rubbing plates, place it in the frame with paper and then watch your toddler create a scene with the character rubbing tool. The crayon rubbing activates music and animal sounds for toddlers to enjoy while they create. For children age 24 mos +.

Even though my daughter was under the recommended age we also tried these out.  I can't really give her open crayons yet as she pretty much just wants to eat them.  I love the idea of the dry erase mat and crayons.  My seven year old son liked this item and I think it is a great one to let him bring on trips.  Both he and my little daughter loved the Musical Rub-Art Station.  It was something simple to make a design just by rubbing the crayon and it played music while doing it.

When you encourage your children to grow and develop through their first art experiences, some very important developmental milestones happen. Large and fine motor skills like hand-eye coordination begin to develop, as well as self-confidence and early literacy skills. As significant as their first words, a child’s first scribbles represent the beginning of their journey for symbolic communication that’s needed to develop reading and writing skills.

When children discover that they can make a mark, their desire to create is unleashed. And that’s where the fun and joyful moments begin for parent and child. Crayola wants all children to be creatively alive and so they’re helping parents begin the journey with a new line of products called My First Crayola™.
