Kennedy is back in the hospital. The movements she was having were definitely seizures. She is still having them and we are trying to figure out a different treatment plan. Today she goes for a spinal tap to send off to Mayo clinic for furthur diagnostic testing. They are testing for some other diseases that could be causing the progression of the seizures...instead of just mitochondrial disease. We will begin a treatment probably Thursday of steroids and IVIG, treatment for autoimmunine epilepsies. We wont know if that is what she has, but are going to do the treatment as she has tried so many. So we are looking at probably being in here until at least Tuesday.
