Shushybye Close Your Eyes is a great book/cd combo to help get your children in bed and ready for sleep.  The story introduces your children to the land of Shushybye, the Shushies and dream boxes.  "Shushybye is the land where your dreams are made".   The Shushies make the dreams and bring them to you when you sleep in your dream boxes.  You must go to sleep to receive your dream boxes.  In the story the Shushies help two children (and their Mom and Dad) get to sleep.    The story is fun and the illustrations are very colorful. 

It also comes with an audio CD of the entire story narrated by Shushybye’s official storyteller, Kenny Curtis and the Shushies. Plus, three original Shushybye songs, including the rockin' Close Your Eyes, are included.  The narration is really nice and easy to follow.  I love the voices of the Shushies!  The audio cd starts out with the Shushybye theme song, followed by the story and two more songs.  The songs are nice.  I personally kind of wish they would have had the song Close Your Eyes first, as it is a faster beat and I would have liked the slower song to end with, if this was being used right at bedtime.  Otherwise I think the story and the songs are all real cute.  They definitely would be fun for a nightly routine.

They also sell musical CD's by the Shushybye Band.  The Shushybye Dream Band: Close Your Eyes the music CD features many Shushy hits: Feels Like Magic, It's A Shushy Day, The Snort and Wheez Theme Song, Send Your Dream Wish, It's Evening, The Shushybye Blues, Shushybye Boogie Tonight, Pillow Park Rock, Beyond the Stars and Past the Moon and Who's Makin' Dreams.  The songs on the CD are sung by adults with a nice pop or light rock style music.  The songs are really fun and the kids have a good time singing with them or dancing to them.  I like the format of the cd as the last two songs are slower which is a nice way to end the cd if your kids are listening at bedtime.  I think "Its Evening" is a great bedtime song.
