I am on vacation for the next couple weeks, and then when I get back home the two weeks before school start are full of appointments!  I am going to be very busy.

What are the next big goals you want to tackle?

My next big goals I want to tackle I need to start immediately!  I am terrible with my nutrition and exercise as soon as I hear the words vacation.  I spend the week before vacation doing other stuff and not focusing on working out and eating well.  I then tend to spend vacation really slacking also.  I had been really cutting back on meat/animal products and was feeling good.  I started eating some more being busy and not wanting to cook extra meals, as the family really does not want to join me in this.  Well my body does not like this.  sorry you have to read this, but man my stomach does not like me eating this stuff so much!  So my goals this couple weeks on vacation will be to actually get some non meat foods into my diet more.  I do not want to spend half of vacation in the bathroom...yuck!  My other goal is to get in some workouts.  Yesterday I played field hockey with my niece...She started last fall, using my old stick from when I played 20 years ago(god I am old).  It was fun, and I was sweating!  So that is one choice.  I would like to go for some walks with my Mom too, so maybe if the nights are cool enough we will get out and go walking.  Otherwise I guess I will have to challenge my sister to some Wii workouts.

My long term goal too is to keep doing my menu plans when I get back home.  I have a very busy week the week I am back.  Three days going to Childrens hospital for appointments(just that week).  Then more the following week.  Plus I gotta do school shopping and preparing.  So planning the meals will be really good so that I can make sure I am not just grabbing whatever.  I think I am going to start out one meal here and at home by doing some grilled portabellos on some flatout bread.  The flatout fold it breads make great rolls for burgers or sandwiches!  I also like the regular flatouts with some hummus for a cool lunch....my favorite is to take red pepper hummus, spread it out on the flatout, add some fresh red pepper slices, cucumber slices and salad greens and wrap it!  Yummy!
