Mamavation Monday

>
Well at last weeks Mamavation twitter party I won a pair of Earth Footwear exerwalks....which got me motivated to get moving again.  I was feeling pretty guilty that I was eating some candy and drinking a soda during the twitter party!  Yeah I know I am terrible!  I got up the next morning and did a good workout which led to some sore legs for a couple days.  I did get a couple more workouts in, and a decent food journal for the weekdays...but kind of slacked over the weekend.  I am going to do better this week...and if I can do good during the week then I dont mind a little treat over the weekend, but just if I do good during the week.

My preggo stomach (18wks now) is really sticking out, and I am starting to feel more effects after lifting Kennedy now too.  So I really gotta get working out to keep up my strength and endurance.  I have no choice but to lift, even though I am trying to get some equipment in my home to help out.

Today if you watch Dr. Oz the new episode airing is one Leah(aka bookieboo, founder of Mamavation) went to to learn about getting the family healthier.  She was sponsored by Chiquita bananas who are also sponsoring tonights Mamavation TV show.  I love chiquita bananas I think I eat them almost every day!

  8. You have definitely been on my mind with your workouts and moving your little girl around during your pregnancy. Above anything work on your strength and body mechanics during your pregnancy. I won't get on you for the junk during the party, you know your priorities. Get on that strength work.

{hugs}, Mama -- Kia is right; definitely work on the strength training part. It's going to be so vital the farther and farther you go into your pregnancy.

  14. I started working out to get rid of some weight right before I found out Landon was in my tummy... and than I stopped lol. It was just too tiring for me ontop of the crazy 2 year old I had running around. I commend you! Have a great week!
