ReplyDeleteI love Hawaii. We've spent most of our trips there on Maui because that's where my brother lives. The sunsets and the rainbows are like no other place on earth. Great pics!

That is an amazing rainbow above.. is that the lava? I wonder if the heat and humidity associated with the lava is helping form the rainbow...

The rainbow has old lava rock under it...the flowing lava pic was taken from above in our helicopter ride over the volcano. We did think that while we were visiting the volcano national park that there was going to be more lava or something cause they asked us to leave the road we were on and were turning everyone around...it ended up that a military aircraft needed to make an emergency landing there.
