PHeewww...I am tired today! What a busy weekend. My husband was great and took care of the kids 3 out of the last 4 nights so I could get out and have some fun!

Todays post is going to have two sections:

First...

Doesnt it bug the crap out of you when people make plans and cant call/answer their phones when they want to cancel. Wednesday I had posted about having my dominos houseparty...it was a lot of fun and was yummy! Here were I live there is a country music festival that started that day also...I had the opportunity to get some free tickets, but declined because of the pizza party. There were supposed to be 3 other families coming over as well as some single people. Well two of the 3 didnt show up, so I was ticked as I could have gotten the pizza for the guys and dinner and then headed off with my friend Maryann(who did show up) to see Taylor Swift if I had only known they were not going to show up. I really hate when people are going to come over and never show up and cant call to let me know. I perfectly fine with people cancelling....just let me know. This has happened so many times with one of my friends(who will call me 10 times a day any other time)...that I actually decided enough was enough this week and have ended the friendship. I even kind of acted like a 13 year old doing it...as I figured she cant answer her phone when I tried calling to confirm...so instead of talking to her I just posted it on facebook.

Ok and so for the second part: I have been in such a good mood since this. Like I said my husband was great and I went out and had a great time this week(end). Thursday I went out with Maryann and another lady she introduced me too. We just hung out and talked mostly. It was nice.

Friday I stayed home...but enjoyed some time in the pool with Zach and then by myself for the first time. Not sure if I am going to get Zach to swim on his own. We practiced and he will kick his legs great...but doesnt use his arms well. Now he realized too that he can just touch with his nose sticking out...so he was cheating and kicking off the bottom of the pool to make it to the other side.

Saturday ...ugghhh I was so busy...Bob and I decided to clean an overgrown area and that took us a few hours and was tiring. Then Maryann and I took off and saw Dierks Bentley and Rodney Atkins play. They were great. We headed back again Sunday and saw Lady Antebellum and Gretchen Wilson...again great concerts! It was a lot of fun!

This week should be good. We just have some therapy stuff for the kids, no appointments! It is cooler this week and calling for some rain ...but looking good for the 4th...so we should have a fun weekend. Hope everyone has a great week! I also would like to take the time and ask for some thoughts and prayers for my online friend Julie. She had to have surgury and has now had some complications from that. Julie...hope you get well soon!
