Fitness Friday

>
Well if you have read any of my posts this week you will know I have changed things up a bit. My knees were hurting so I decided to quit doing the 30 day challenge. I really dont like the word quit...as I really didnt quit...yet am just changing my workouts. I designed a couple custom workouts(which are listed in an earlier blog post) that are not hard on my knees but burn more calories. If you add both routines together you will burn about 550-600 calories. So over the weekend I did the challenge and one more workout would have been halfway point...but switched and did custom routines Mon and Tuesday. I also threw in some wii fit and did the wii fit today so far. This week I am down 1 1/2 lbs...so I am at a total loss of 39 pounds! 1 more pound and I will be down 40 lbs! Two more weeks and I will have had my wii fit for 6 months. So far as of todays date my bmi has gone down over 5 points. For my short term goal for July 4th weight I need to lose 5 more lbs...Can I do it? I am surely going to try hard...two weeks= 5lbs! So I need to get with it, get moving, and put that fork down!
Julie...Good luck on your surgery soon! Everyone else...keep up your great work, thanks for the support and hope everyone has a nice fathers day weekend!

I'm going to check out your routines. I wanna burn 500 or more calories a day. I'm glad that you can still get a good workout without killing your knees.

  5. Oh, thank you for that! I'm scared, but I have you and all our friends with me. I had to fill out a post op request form and I requested that I get my laptop turned on and connected as soon as I wake up after surgery!
