Well I started this week off celebrating too much of my 5 lb weight loss last week...I was such a slacker. I only exercised 15 minutes Friday, then none over the weekend! :( I also snacked, eating ice cream. So I started off the week, by gaining....but managed to do better during the weekdays...and am at the same weight as last Friday! So that is good that I at least made up for it. Yesterday I also started doing one line of the strengthening exercises and really could feel it....so I am going to continue doing this. I also even managed to get another high score on boxing...up to 1338! I also found a yummy snack...Sensible Portions multi grain mini crisps. I really liked the cinnamon crisps! They kind of taste like cinnamon toast crunch cereal, but with white choc. drizzled over them. They came in 100 calorie snack packs, which made it easy to know when to quit!
Everyone knows vacations are always a hard time to fit in exercise. I will be going back home for Easter and spending the week there. The last morning I am there I will be joining my Mom and some other family members on the Heart Walk for heart disease and stroke. We have lost many, and have others that are fighting heart disease. Also my own daughter has probably suffered a stroke at her young age. I blogged about this yesterday and would love if anyone would be interested in donating...the link with the info is:
Good job on exercising! :-) I'll be praying for your daughter - I like the quotes you have in your sidebar next to the pictures of your kids (beautiful kids!). I was thinking about the verse that helped me through a really hard time in my life, "You, O LORD, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light!" - Psalm 18:28
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work!
I think you're doing great. Just doing any of the Wii is awesome and the walk is a HUGE amount of exercise. You are truly a role model in this community.
ReplyDeleteHi Colleen! Good job keeping that ice cream from joining you. hee hee. Hopefully the weather will be lovely for your walk. It's a great cause to walk for.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week!
Awesome job on maintenance after a less productive weekend...I didn't do so well this week, but that's ok. Try again next week!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your walk.
