Well I am kind of bummed cause I have made sure to exercise everyday for at least a half an hour....but I am at the same weight as last week. I guess having a birthday with some cake doesnt help...but I didnt think I was doing too bad though. Guess I need to try better this week.
On a good note using my Wii fit for my exercise I have done good getting to my high scores on hoola hoop, boxing and advanced step. I also am adding in more arm movements for the step and making it a better work out. My goal for this week is to add in 15 minutes of stregnthening along with my 30min of aerobics....and doing better at watching my diet.

Love, love, love the cartoon! :-D
It's hard when there are special day.. or snow days, which we've had this week. But it's an up and down process and not every week will be perfect. But keep working. It pays off. And yes, I think I'm going to try to post whether I have a great week or not. It's accountability. And who wants to say 'I stink at this' every single week.. it's gotta motivate. right? lol
Just because the weight isn't dropping, doesn't mean things aren't moving around. My first 3 months I only lost 10 pounds and I was so let down because I worked out daily. What I didn't realize is that my muscles were toning up, so I wasn't losing right away, my body was reshaping itself. After week 12, my weight POURED off of me. I couldn't believe how quickly it came off. For some people, it might be a gradual 1-2 pound loss, for some you might see nothing for weeks then have a big drop. You are doing a great job and I'm super proud of you!
Colleen,
Keep up the good work. If it was easy-everyone would be skinny...haha. We can try to do it together.
Love ya-Shawn
That cartoon is hilarious! :) Like Julie said, just because the weight doesn't come off right away doesn't mean it's not working...look at it this way, while you may not have lost a pound or two from last week, you also didn't gain any! ;) Keep up the good work! :)
I'm there with you! It may not happen like we thought it would, but I bet we will be jumping for joy at the scale in no time. I bet your clothes feel better, and your energy is better?
The cartoon is great!
Way to stick to your routine, mama!
Great cartoon - congrats on the high scores! I also have been adding some extra arm movements and started using some small hand weights - 1.5 lbs. - while doing the step to increase the intensity!
Good job and keep up the good work. It takes time to see weight loss and just remember, muscle weighs more then fat.
I am very curious how you were doing hula hoop movements in your chair, I caught myself trying just to see what you were talking about. LOL
